Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sip Happens of NC, LLC (“Sip Happens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of our mobile bar services and related offerings. By booking our services, visiting our website, or communicating with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms:
1. Service Agreement
When you book with Sip Happens of NC, LLC, a formal service contract will be executed outlining your event details, fees, and expectations. This signed agreement, along with payment, secures your booking.
We agree to:
Provide our Piaggio Ape mobile bar truck, fully cleaned and sanitized.
Deliver and serve the selected beverages with staff for the agreed time.
As agreed, supply all garnishes, napkins, cups, ice, and requested drink equipment.
Confirm details via email prior to the event.
Provide a Certificate of Insurance if requested by the venue.
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Pay a 50% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking.
Pay the remaining balance no later than 14 days before your event.
Communicate any date, location, or time changes in writing.
Ensure appropriate venue access and permissions for our vehicle setup.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation without refund.
3. Payments and Fees
We accept payment via:
Check
Venmo/CashApp
Credit card (3% processing fee applies)
Additional fees may include:
Travel Fees: For events located more than 40 miles round-trip from Apex, NC.
Overtime: $150/hour beyond the contracted service time.
All payments are final. Returned checks incur a $45 fee.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Retainers are non-refundable.
Cancellation within 20 days of the event requires 100% of the balance.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to: info@siphappensnc.com
If we (Sip Happens of NC, LLC) must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued, excluding any non-refundable items agreed upon.
5. Event Limitations & Liability
We are not responsible for service disruption due to:
Severe weather
Traffic delays
Mechanical failure
Illness or other unforeseen events
We will make every effort to notify you and find a solution, but no compensation is guaranteed beyond a refund of unused services.
The client assumes responsibility for any damage to the mobile bar or equipment caused by guests.
6. Photography & Media Release
By booking with us, you grant Sip Happens of NC, LLC permission to:
Photograph or film your event for promotional use on our website, social media, or marketing.
Use these materials indefinitely without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before your event.
7. Disputes and Legal
In the event of a dispute:
Parties agree to attempt mediation before legal proceedings.
The prevailing party in any legal action will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
8. SMS Terms of Service
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Sip Happens of NC, LLC. This includes SMS messages for appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, post-visit instructions, lab notifications, and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. 9. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on www.siphappensnc.com and become effective immediately.
